  2. 2For Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Continue or Zed, add the server URL https://medgecapital.com/api/mcp/mcp with the key; the account page shows the exact configuration.
  3. 3For Claude.ai on the web, add MEDGE as a custom connector and sign in with OAuth; for ChatGPT, use a plan that supports MCP connectors.
  4. 4Revoke a key or disconnect an app at any time from the same page.

You want to understand your portfolio the way you would ask a knowledgeable friend, but with real numbers behind the answers.

How do I use MEDGE Capital with Claude?

In Claude Desktop, add the MEDGE MCP server (https://medgecapital.com/api/mcp/mcp) with a personal API key from your account. On Claude.ai, add MEDGE as a custom connector and sign in with OAuth. Then ask Claude to backtest or stress test your saved portfolios.

Does it work with ChatGPT?

Yes, on ChatGPT plans that support MCP connectors. Cursor, Cline, Continue and Zed work with a personal API key.

How many MCP tools are there, and which plan do I need?

There are 59 tools and 5 prompts. The Free plan has 37 tools, including backtests, Monte Carlo, what-if replays, market data and 13F holders; Essential adds stress tests, risk decomposition, optimization and comparisons; Plus adds exposure, factor regression, macro, COT and custom briefings; Pro and Advisor add Workbench widgets.

Is my data safe when I connect an assistant?

You connect with a personal API key or OAuth. Keys are stored on MEDGE’s servers only as SHA-256 hashes and can be revoked one by one; OAuth connections can be disconnected from the account page at any time.
